So, I’ve spent the better part of the day installing Wordpress and modifying it to fit my needs. I was able to hack up the default Kubrick theme thanks to some help from this tutorial.
I wanted to see if I could get Wordpress to play nice with my static XHTML/CSS design. It seemed to work pretty well. It wasn’t even that difficult, really. I’ll probably make some subtle, mostly typographical, changes to my new theme when I have spare time, but for now I think I have sorted out most of the major design issues.
Now all I need to do is to figure out what to blog about. That’s more difficult than it sounds.
